I have seven aquariums at the moment. I used to use a really good heater that was supposed to be indestructible until it started blowing me up, so I tried changing heaters more often. I looked at my 20 gallon tank and saw that the heater was starting to look weird. No matter how I lowered the temperature, it was always hot there. I have this to take my place. HOW IT WORKS It is attached to the wall with suction cups. The digital dial on the heater lights up and you can see it from across the room. There is a dial on the cord next to the plug so you can adjust the temperature from there. You don't have to reach for the water. CORD LENGTH This cord is approximately four to five feet long (I forgot to measure it prior to installation and I may not be able to get it now). ACCURACY This remains constant and the accuracy also seems to be good. I set it to 78F and it's always between 79 and 77 on my other thermometer. Because the pool is long, the temperature fluctuates in different places, but I have circulating fans to move the water. I've had it running for a week and everything seems to be going very well. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I would consider buying this again until now. I will continue to monitor it and if it works well over time I might consider replacing other heaters with these if I can.
