I have been looking for reading glasses to wear in the evenings on a cruise when dressier attire is required (sometimes referred to as "formal" or "formal" evenings). I'm not a particularly "costumed" person, but I'm pretty good at cleaning when needed, and I need reading glasses to read the menu, so that doesn't mean I can't just have them on hand. Saw these and thought they might work. The tint on the lenses is very thin - the description says the tint is purple. It's actually more of a pink tone, but it's a "warm" pink and understated. The recordings seem to have been successful. The hinges are not a "spring" so you need to be careful with them. There are four tiny rhinestones near the bottom corner of the right glass which add some sparkle - very cute! And rimless lenses (the ear and nose clips are held directly into the plastic lenses with small screws). The edges of the lenses are beveled, which in turn adds some textural interest. The magnification performance seems accurate. I only need glasses for reading and working on the computer, and this is what I use most (2.0). No bump issues - well polished, no wavy images etc. Finally you get a very nice zipped case that I will definitely use on my travels.
