Review on 🎧 Sena R1 / R1 EVO Intelligent Communication Helmet by Seann Barnes

My husband and I bought these helmets for Christmas. Admittedly he was a little skeptical that they would perform as well as advertised (he expected a lot of interference from wind noise and thought they would be as unreliable as the radios of his youth) but we decided to give it a try. Wow, he was glad to be wrong! These helmets have made our bike rides so much more enjoyable. We can chat while driving without raising our voice or turning our heads. Wind noise is rare and even then not bad enough to drown out our normal voices. Disconnects are rare and can be quickly resolved with a push of a button on the side of the helmet. According to our reinforcement tests, the helmets stay in contact for at least half a mile. The battery life is surprisingly long. We received a warning that his helmet had a low battery, but we were able to complete our 14-mile ride with no drain. We are very glad we bought them and they have made our travels so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
