Okay, but I have to understand why it doesn't cut quite straight. I'm a bit of a precision freak, so I get a little annoyed when I don't get two exact sizes. I have used utility knives my entire life at home, at school as a student in grades 6-12 and as a teacher. If I can't fix it, I can return it. Update: I have decided to return the item. The dimensions were off the blade by about 1/16 inch. The top bar at the top where you flush the paper to align the paper perfectly horizontally has a gap on the right side and some individual sheets were sliding down and leaning up giving me skewed cuts. I've become more mindful, but I don't want to mess with it anymore trying to get my perfect cuts. My cuts are still inconsistent but I haven't researched what could be the reason.
