Review on Aquaboon Filter Purifier: Enhancing Tap Water Quality with Faucet Filtration by Michael Welborn

Thanks to the hilo90MHz images below taken in August 2013. It looks like the faucet isn't what it used to be, not even the one sold by Revain which I recently bought. The finish is similar to the cheaper hilo90mhz version but with a few changes ie extended the spout, slightly enlarged the handle, added a metal base and added instructions. However this is not a good quality old design, the raised metal base is different from the Revain photo, the nozzle no longer has a shield as shown in the hilo90mhz photo and as you could see in the last photo the connecting line between the body and the handle is not uniform, reflective of very poor workmanship. Based on the previous review, Revain should have removed the misleading good quality image and replaced it with a newer model/manufacturer image. Reading the hilo90MHz post below I thought the ones Revain sells are still good quality but they aren't unless I'm unlucky. Revain now offers a modified, cheaper version. Beware. What confuses me is that after the dispenser is closed, the last drop of water stays at the spout's mouth for who knows how long. After shaking off that drop, leaving and coming back 10-20 minutes later, there is another drop at the mouth of the nozzle, which leads me to suspect that the valve is leaking. If you don't want to see water droplets on the counter, be careful. This is no longer a 5 star product with the old design.
