Review on Soldering station ELEMENT 898BD, 700 W black by Vassil Peev ᠌

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

I will not write down as a disadvantage, but the soldering iron does not have a standby mode. I compare with a conventional adjustable soldering iron of another well-known Chinese brand. The temperature on the indicator is more likely the temperature of the surface of Mars or some other planet, but not exactly the sting and air of the hair dryer. Although there is an unambiguous correlation between the actual temperature and the readings. For example, when reading 320 degrees, the real temperature of the tip, measured by a thermocouple, is 285 degrees, at 350 - 317 degrees. It is comfortable to work with a soldering iron with a tip temperature of 330 and a hair dryer of 350 degrees.

Pros
  • In general, a good convenient station. Quickly enters the operating mode and cools down quickly. It doesn't work loudly.
Cons
  • The wires are a little short: a large table, and you have to work no further than a meter from the station.
