Review on BEADNOVA Replacement Suitcase Backpack Assorted by Kelsey Brown

I needed a replacement pull rod for a Samsonite trunk that the airline could break and lose. Samsonite wanted to return the bag to replace the train so I started looking for a replacement that felt solid and looked good. .It's made of metal and the U-shaped end that attaches to the zipper is held by two metal pins on the tongue. Think of a T-shape attached to the top crossbar of the T-shape with small pins at the end of the crossbar. I was able to spread the U-bracket far enough to remove it from the crossbar with just my thumbnail, but it wasn't easy. After removing and attaching the U-bolt to the zipper, I had to spread the ends of the U-bolt back slightly to fit it onto the pins. (An extra hand is needed here) After the U-clip was on the pins, I took some small pliers with cloth to protect the end of the clamp and pressed the U-clip onto the pins. Much tighter fit. Easier than explained, but don't use too much force when opening the U-clip. Deliver just enough to remove the clip from the pins. Looks solid and works well. Only time will tell what the airlines can do but it comes with 4 large poles so I have a spare.
