STURDY METAL ZIPPER PULL: The zipper pull tab is made of high grade zinc alloy and the surface is smooth and shiny. The zipper pull is sturdy which is great replacement for the damaged or broken zippers. STORAGE BOX INCLUDED: Come with the pack a plastic box, it keeps the zipper pull replacements good in storage. DIY ZIPPER PULL REPLACEMENT: U-shaped ring on the top of zipper pull can be opened and closed, therefore the zipper pull tab is reusable and dismountable. Too weak, easy to bend and too thick to fit through the zipper puller

They look strong, have some weight, but the loop is too thick to fit through the zipper eyelet. I bought these to fix a broken zipper on my motorcycle jacket. It has a fairly large YKK #5vs zipper puller but was too thick to fit through the hole even in a motorcycle jacket zipper. The metal loop is also made of somewhat soft metal and bends very easily. I don't know if it would hold up even if I could install it.

  • EASY ZIPPER REPAIR: While holding the zipper puller, pull the U-ring at the top with pliers. Attach the slider to the zipper and then close the clasp.

Attaching the Zipper

later This is a good product that does its job really well. One thing that is not described is how the binding is achieved. It turns out that metal is extremely malleable, so needle-tipped pliers, SMOOTH expanded, will open the hoop just enough to free the tongue. Then, by simply putting the hoop in place, arranging the tabs and carefully securing the hoop through the tie rods, you're done. Note that I underlined SOFTLY. The first time I opened the hoop, I tried too hard and opened the hoop too

Fits well and is durable

I needed a replacement pull rod for a Samsonite trunk that the airline could break and lose. Samsonite wanted to return the bag to replace the train so I started looking for a replacement that felt solid and looked good. .It's made of metal and the U-shaped end that attaches to the zipper is held by two metal pins on the tongue. Think of a T-shape attached to the top crossbar of the T-shape with small pins at the end of the crossbar. I was able to spread the U-bracket far enough to remove it…
