Too weak, easy to bend and too thick to fit through the zipper puller
They look strong, have some weight, but the loop is too thick to fit through the zipper eyelet. I bought these to fix a broken zipper on my motorcycle jacket. It has a fairly large YKK #5vs zipper puller but was too thick to fit through the hole even in a motorcycle jacket zipper. The metal loop is also made of somewhat soft metal and bends very easily. I don't know if it would hold up even if I could install it.
- EASY ZIPPER REPAIR: While holding the zipper puller, pull the U-ring at the top with pliers. Attach the slider to the zipper and then close the clasp.
