Review on Sweese Foldable Rectangular Porcelain Platters: Space-saving Elegance for Your Table by Brian Page

I ordered two of these and one is defective because the threaded rod is too short to drive the screw. I will also mention on both items that the threaded rod/balls had chipped paint. I'll keep one unit to myself and deal with the peeling paint myself, but I'm not convinced by the price. I will be returning this unit for a replacement as I don't have time to explore other options but I doubt I will be buying Sweese products again in the future. (I should mention that I recently purchased (2) Sweese tiered cupcake stands and both came crooked out of the box and impossible to straighten without breaking, so I returned them and will be looking for an alternative. I confess, I'm tired of picking it up back to the UPS store.) The reason I chose this brand was that they position themselves as better than most/others, but I really don't think that's the case.
