FYI I have a lot of chemically treated (lightened and colored) THIN hair. Very very thin. But it goes to the middle of the back. The shampoo is clear and has the consistency of aloe gel. The conditioner is creamy white and has the consistency of a body lotion. When I first used it I HATED how it felt in the shower. My hair seemed to stick together and it felt like I hadn't even put soap or conditioner on my hair. I withstood this because the final drying result is important. I'm pleasantly surprised. My hair is pretty soft, but it wasn't really "WOW, SO SOFT!" It was more like "okay, so there used to be soap in my hair. Everything is fine". My ends are what struck me the most. They're very sleek and more manageable than what I'm used to (I've bleached and colored my hair so my ends are a mess). I used shampoo only for roots and conditioner mid to end and rinsed off with warm water. SMELL VICTORIOUS AF This is the smell you can smell throughout the room. Half a bottle of powerful bath and body perfume. I have migraines and was very concerned that the smell would trigger a migraine, but surprisingly it didn't. Doesn't smell like coconut at all. This is a STRONG floral scent. I would describe it as close to the smell of sweet peas for baths and body care. But super strong. I can't stress that enough. I sit still with my hair on my back and smell my hair without moving Conclusion: I think it's worth the price I deducted a star because it seems like it's a bad idea ar is a mediocre shampoo and conditioner and has an overpowering smell.
