Very odd smell/does not look new! Disappointed after spending forever deciding about this hefty purchase. The positives are: fast service, great design I was searching for and comfy over shoulder. The cons: Very poor packaging.arrive just in a plastic bag in box.no cloth bag and the smell was very much like an old closet or an old cargo ship/box.smell of mildew. I really think unfortunately, this particular bag (wine color) was used because it had such a bad odor almost like the ingredient used in bug sprays. I have to decide if I want to keep this bag.should have gotten in a store.really like ebay a lot but do not understand why this appears to be not new.but rather used. There was a Frye tag in the inside pocket but I am almost certain this is not a new bag. I hope it is the real deal but if used.it should have said so. In stores, the leather smells wonderfuland the bag has a definite distinct "fresh" leather smell whereas this stinks like old laundry.what to do. Only gave three stars for fast service and design/shape of bag.butttttt.
