Absolutely gorgeous dress! I ordered this for my 2 and 5 year olds for shared wardrobe. The dress is very long, but since it has to be floor length, it has to fit. I wanted my two children, who are at opposite ends of the growth scale for their ages, to share clothes regardless of size. I think it will be a bit long for a 2.5 year old but they will still enjoy it. The material is comfortable and durable enough to survive intermittent association play. There is a nice velcro on the back which makes it easier for mom to play and my girls to be more independent/cooperative. would recommend
