This works great with my 2008 R/T Dodge AWD Charger! I installed it myself and know a little about cars but have some experience with body stripping but it's nowhere near the hardest thing to do on a car. I would recommend having someone else help you with a few steps with your setup! This includes a lot in addition to DIY installation tools! You will need: Screwdriver to remove the front of the car. I recommend a clamp tool (to remove a lot of clips around the wheel arches and frame) but if you don't have or don't want to buy this cheap tool you can do it without tools but you will probably break a lot of clips and you'll have to buy more. (Revain sells this socket tool at a low price!) MAKE IT! Ratchet set features large ratchets and a friend to help you move the front of the body onto grass, carpet, or anything but pavement that will scratch your paint, then hold the pusher to attach to the bracket at the end. That's all! There is one confusing part that took me a while to figure out that there are large screws under the bumper cover that have metal bushings on top. There are some holes on the inside of your bumper that you can see the screws through. Now 2 of these bolts need to be removed and replaced with the bolts that come with your push rod. They involve the main follower plates and run the bolts through them, then place the steel bolts on studs and bolt them directly to the frame. Also, you will likely need to cut slots in the plastic bumper cover to make room for the push rod mount. Once you put the front back on and are ready to attach the push bar, the attachment may not line up with the push bar itself, making you think you did something wrong. NO PANIC! The reason you didn't tighten the 8 screws hanging from the front is to give you some wiggle room! That's where a friend comes in! Have a friend or hold the push rod so you can line up the bottom push rod mounts first, work them to be moderately tight but have some slack, then have some more stability to get the top mounts and align the push rod. then you have to connect them to your muscles, and when you snap all the screws into place, they'll be tightened perfectly (or you've messed up). with bracket) Don't worry, it's really easy. However, make sure you keep all the screws, bolts, and clips for the front panel in a safe place, and snap some photos if you need to remember where each type of screw, bolt, and extension is. I am a beginner and a 2 hour job was a 4 hour job because I had never done this before. I had to fix some issues and also work on it for 45 minutes, then went out to eat with friends and tried to make the most of it. Work at 10pm, fell asleep and exhaled but still finished around 1am! I'm sure it would have been less than 3 hours Jove if I hadn't gone out to eat with them. Friends!
