Review on Rectangular Violet Linen Treasure Tablecloth by Jason Rogness

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Gorgeous tablecloth!

Two days before Easter, I found that my old white damask tablecloth didn't match my brand new dining table with the door open. Not having time to spend all day looking for the right one, I immediately turned to Revain. It was supposed to be delivered with Prime by Friday, but to be safe I paid a little more for overnight delivery. This is beautiful fabric! My table is still a bit small, so the fall from all sides is very long, but that's not really a problem. It will be nice when I set my table again as a homemade bridal shower buffet in June. My only concern is getting out. The package was the stiffness of polyester fabric. The fabric seemed almost starched. I was going to wash it to make it softer but was afraid it would go bad although it can be machine washed/dried but didn't want to risk going back to start, no fabric! I've had many compliments on how beautiful it is, the lace trimmings around the edges and center is very noticeable. It also washes beautifully and gets softer as it is washed and dried. I ended up washing and drying it twice because after putting it back on the table to fold it up for storage the first time, I noticed a round "greasy" stain on one end. The fabric softener seemed to stain at times, so I pretreated the stain and washed/dried again. The stain is gone! I know this fabric will last for many years at many holidays and events. My daughter has even expressed an interest in borrowing it for her large table. Feel free to buy this cloth, it's a keeper and if you feel it's a bit "chewy" outside of the packaging, try prewashing.
