Great design and seems to work well

Seems to be a very solid construction even with the rotating sockets. Note that you must rotate the connector before plugging in the cable as it will put it in a different position. It comes with a screw to attach it to the socket, so you don't have to worry about this thing falling off when you unplug the cord. I'll update my review if I run into any issues, but after a few days everything seems to be working fine. I'm not sure about the specifics of the surge protector, but I assume it's consistent with most popular surge protectors.
