It was a good buy for my 5 year old. He plays hockey and they go great with all his gear to keep him warm. They're a little thin but look well cut. As for the fit, they are definitely snug - my boyfriend is quite slim and it suits him but can be tight for kids with a larger build, especially around the waist. The pants are also very long - we just roll them up, but I suppose he'll outgrow them in width before he's big enough for their length.
