The included metal 'spork' comes in a thin plastic bag which is then placed in a large pot for transport. The burner is packaged in a fairly good plastic container that also fits in a large pot. Also included is a small kitchen towel. The problem is that the metal spatula bounces in transit and damages the coating of the pan. All they have to do is wrap the included kitchen towel around the spor when they're all packed. I sent back the first one I received as there were a few scratches on the coating inside the pot and two folding legs were bent. There was a small scratch on the replacement but other than that it looks good so I decided to give it a try. Only use will tell if the coating will flake off.
