I liked these shoes for the first 3 months. Very light and comfortable. I'm a landscaper and walk a lot, so I figured a few famous Merrell's would do. I was (literally) wrong. After 3 months of daily use, the sole sagged under my toes causing my feet to sit at an odd reverse angle and my pinky digging into my ring finger. I tried swapping out the inserts but the problem was in the sole of the boot itself so the insole only fixed the issue for a day or two before sagging and mimicking the shape of the deformed sole underneath. I wore them for as long as I could bear, but the pain got too much and I had to take them off. They still looked new on the outside, but the sole made walking extremely painful. For the money I would have expected a little more quality and for such a name I never would have expected that. I'm currently back in my Timberland Pro steel toe running shoes which I've been using since 2012. They are very heavy but lasted 8 years for the same price.
