It really helps our newborn feel comfortable in the bassinet. We did our best to keep our first baby happy in the Halo bassinet as he was restless. We didn't want a repeat with our second child and stumbled upon the MySnuggly insert when looking for accessories to reduce the bassinet's huge footprint. We chose the Fisher-Price cradle and MySnuggly saved our sleep. This insert makes the baby feel more comfortable and comfortable. We can still keep an eye on our baby because the window is big enough to see his chest moving up and down. Our second child has almost doubled his nightly stretches (now 4 hours). The liner is easy to put on - the plastic clips are strong enough to make it childproof and it has a zip closure, making it very easy to wash. Since our baby has some reflux and spits up a lot, we have washed him several times and he is holding up quite well. It's worth it!
