The hands on the dial point inwards rather than outwards, making it difficult to tell which setting is on. You also can't turn back the dial if you go too far. My husband has been using it for a while and he still burns everything, he just can't get the feel of this machine. It's easy to clean and I love the shade of blue. I ordered it because of the color. We didn't need anything fancy and sophisticated, as long as it works that's all we need, but it's just annoying to get everything right and use.
