I ordered this because it was the only one that seemed strong enough. The rest were mostly made of brittle metal or had suction cups that, even if you got them to work at all, would fail over time. I knew if it wobbled at all or if the suction cup failed while my cat was on it, he would never use it again. So I'm glad it's stable and doesn't wobble. What I think they could improve is that the "cushion" is too small and doesn't fully cover the wood. A centimeter more would be nice. Another thing is that this is not "block". These are two pieces of fabric sewn together. One made of semi-thick faux fur, but definitely not lined. So a proper pillow would be nice. The screws are very difficult to tighten with the supplied screwdriver. The size of the handle and tip is too small and you will end up breaking off the screw heads. I used a larger Phillips wrench that also had a larger handle and they screwed in just fine with less effort. Or an electric screwdriver/drill will do. The platform could also be a bit bigger. My cat is small and there isn't even enough space for her to lie down comfortably to keep her parts from hanging down. Which I think is fine as he sits/squats well anyway, but I wouldn't recommend him for a large cat unless he just sits down. That being said, I still think I chose the right one for our needs. He seems to like it.
