I used to make a cold drink out of a large container and gauze. I liked the result but hated the mess. Most units you can buy just don't produce enough cold drinks at once. It's perfect - easy to make, easy to clean and a great cold drink. I couldn't be happier. About a leaking faucet - yes, it is. I think even if you tighten it as much as possible before use, the weight/pressure of the liquid after filling will loosen the nut. THIS IS WHAT I DID: I tightened it as tight as I could, filled the container with water and let it sit for a couple of hours. The mother pulled away and licked again. So, while there was still water in it, I held the faucet out firmly, put my hand in the water, and tightened the nut as tight as I could. Used the silicone grip on my hand to get a better grip on the nut. It's stressful enough. Since then there have been no more leaks. In any case, this product is great once you fix the leak problem (which is admittedly crazy and messy until you fix it, but the fix is simple enough).
