I make 12 cups of coffee every other day - decaffeinated. I drink a lot of coffee because I like the taste. I found that a cup of regular coffee gave me the boost I needed to get through the day without sleep, so I needed a machine to make a cup of coffee, but I didn't want to spend $100 on it. I also wanted white. This turned out to be exactly what I needed. It is white. It's small. It heats up quickly. Makes a decent cup of coffee. And it didn't cost an arm or a leg. I'm a lucky tourist. Addendum: Before writing this review I wanted to make a cup of coffee and couldn't close the lid. It also brought back that horrible chemical taste I thought I washed out of the car. I don't see a way to fix this so I'm returning it for a different brand.
