I have been a tattoo artist for over 15 years and this is definitely a turning point. This allows the tattoo to heal well and my wife loves the matte finish. The grip feels firmer than the Saniderm so it doesn't lift or peel like it does. It is "easy" to remove, depending on your healing level. I prefer to use it on all tattoos as it makes the aftercare much easier for my clients. I don't get texts or emails asking how much lotion or lotion/soap to use (yes, I give maintenance instructions, but people don't read or listen anymore. It's not "cool".) It also significantly reduces surface sensitivity compared to a real tattoo, so no more yelling at your partner to be careful not to touch or brush that area.
