This is the second air compressor I have purchased from this company. Based on my experience with the first one, I probably should have looked for another brand. I thought all the kinks had been eliminated from the old model, but unfortunately I was wrong. When you first use this device, it will do the work of an admiral. I use it to inflate car tires and it makes it quick and effortless. The problem is that after using the supercharger, even a very rare one, the engine does not last. As a result, the amount of air released gradually decreases until it can no longer be used. This has happened to both units I have purchased from this company, although the latter is a much newer design. It's not so much that the compressor works for a specific time. Rather, this is the case when the engine is designed for a limited number of cycles. In my case, both devices started to fail after inflating the tires less than 20 times or 80 tires. I would like to add that in all cases the inflator was never used for more than 10 minutes during each session. For me that is not acceptable. Another problem with this air compressor is that it is very noisy. I recommend using it outside the garage if possible, or if using it indoors have a pair of earbuds handy. Better yet, look for a more reliable brand. The bottom line is that this product works fine when new, but it's not built to last. Having made the mistake of buying a Campbell Hausfeld product a second time, I will now be looking elsewhere for my next one. Of course, this particular air compressor is compact and very easy to use, but the lack of durability is a major reason I don't recommend it.
