Arrived quickly, no smell or stains. I rinsed with salt (I used dish soap) and rinsed with vinegar as another reviewer suggested, but I don't know if that made a difference. After such a wash, they are very soft and absorb moisture well. Towels are bright, vibrant and fun! The perfect size for covering a few risen loaves or storing lint-free veggies to dry. The angled suspension straps are a really thoughtful addition.
