I have a 2012 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab. Great replacement for my old badge. My old license plate had a film that was the blue part of the Ford emblem. Over time this film came off leaving only the chrome portion of the nameplate. Removing the old one was quite difficult. Be careful not to scratch or damage your vehicle's paintwork. After the old record is removed, the fun begins. All old glue must be removed. This glue is like trying to remove the white color from rice. Whoever made this glue. You have some pretty strong stuff! I solved this problem with an angle tool made of rubber/plastic. It took 30-45 minutes to remove all of the old glue. After all the old glue is gone, wipe the surface well with rubbing alcohol to ensure the surface is clean. The final step was to remove the backing paper from the adhesive side of the new decal, line up the decal pin with the holes on the back door of the truck and press firmly. Voila! New Badge Attached! Looks great and I don't think it will come loose any time soon. It should also be noted that this new nameplate looks better than the factory nameplate. I also think it will take much longer.
