Tried a few wedges and leg risers but they were TOO high. I am disabled and largely bedridden. I brace my torso in a sort of crouch/lying position and with a high leg raise I was slightly bent so my weight was mostly on my tailbone which is the cause of my disability. However, stretching your legs in front of you all the time is impractical. I place one of these wedges under my knees and changing position is enough to relieve some of the pain. Sometimes I get my husband to put the other one under my ankles as well, which gives my legs a little lift without reaching for the sky. Everyone has different needs, but for me they were very useful. I would like individual covers to be available for purchase; The cover is supposed to be removable and washable but it would be nice to have a spare while someone waits in the laundry room as I have to rely on others and their availability for the laundry. It's not just about throwing them off, running to the car and coming back about an hour later when there's literally nothing you can do yourself.
