
I purchased this product to help with reballing or soldering BGAs. Solder balls will bounce off or stick to the tweezers due to static electricity. Air ionization removes static electricity. However, after more than an hour of running the fan directly on the small circuit board, the static electricity did not go away. I tried low speed but still got PCB as well as higher speed. The solder balls continued to stick to the tweezers and bounce around, holding together with static electricity. By the way, the instruction manual wasn't in English, it looked like some language, but it didn't make any sense. I call this language Chinglish. I went back to the drawing board and looked for a good, inexpensive IONIZER.
