Excellent. I bought it for my 2001 Ford Excursion and the installation was easy. At first I thought I had to remove the clips (like the old ones) to install/remove them, but no, I was wrong. I'm glad I didn't break them trying. Place the ball connector directly over the ball and push a little, it snaps into place immediately. I am also very impressed with their strength, my lift gate is very heavy and it has been such a nuisance lifting and closing it for the past 3 months. Immediately helped my gate open and close smoothly. Great product and great price. 2 thumbs up. Suitable for the 2001 Gaurentee excursion.
