Excellent shredder, I like that it removes up to 14 pages. Didn't actually test to 14, but I'd say I did 10 to 12 with no issues. We also get those pesky credit card offers with a mock cardboard card on it, and I destroyed the whole set with no problem. My only minor complaint is that there is a few inches of space between the paper slot and the front of the machine, so the shredder window is a little misleading as the shredded pieces tend to accumulate toward the back of the machine, but your window gives way impression that you still have enough space. This isn't a big deal if you conscientiously clean your shredder, but if you're like me almost every time you empty your shredder basket, the paper on the back flows out the back and onto the bottom of the basket. storage compartment. For this reason I gave 4 stars. Every time I really think I'm dumping it before it happens, I actually end up with a pile of papers near the back of the machine, which I then have to vacuum up or else it'll spill the whole floor. I love that it has a CD slot, not that anyone needs to shred CDs these days, but I love that it has a separate little bin for collecting if I need to get rid of an expired card or one of those pesky credit card offers that contain a plastic card, I can put them in there so they're separate from my newspaper instead of leaving them in a pile on my desk. Then, once I've emptied the trash, I run them through the paper part to get a little leftover. Our recycling company takes the shredded paper, so I don't like the combination, otherwise I can't recycle the paper.
