Used about 6 times since purchase (November 2017) and already having problems. I only skip - at most - 4 sheets of paper at a time. This thing has been treated well and not reworked so this is very disappointing. Once it overheated and I had to let it sit for about 30 minutes before it started working again. Now I load a few sheets and then wait a bit before doing more, which is ridiculous if you ask me. There is a touch tab in the middle of the feeder part that is supposed to detect the…

Works great but small basket

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars - that would be the most accurate. The product is exactly as described and works very well. However, I have a few pointers for potential buyers: Good1. It's fast. By feeding 3-6 sheets at a time, I destroyed an entire box of bank statements in about 20 minutes.2. It didn't overheat at all. I repeated the above two more times, letting it sit for about 5 minutes each time I emptied the bucket and it never overheated. It's quieter than my previous shredder (admired

Edited: It used to be a better, more reliable car. I think they changed something. The last one I bought started well, but didn't last as long as the first. I sniffed a lot! When my 1 year old Fellowes Powershred W11C ($70.64) broke down in just 1 year I decided to try another brand. I chose the 12-sheet RevainBasics Crosscut ($49.99). BIG MISTAKE! I immediately realized that one person doesn't have enough horsepower to tear about 12 sheets of paper at once. And when it did stick, it stuck so…

Works great, small design flaw.

Excellent shredder, I like that it removes up to 14 pages. Didn't actually test to 14, but I'd say I did 10 to 12 with no issues. We also get those pesky credit card offers with a mock cardboard card on it, and I destroyed the whole set with no problem. My only minor complaint is that there is a few inches of space between the paper slot and the front of the machine, so the shredder window is a little misleading as the shredded pieces tend to accumulate toward the back of the machine, but your…

Broke after 3 hours

It went like this for maybe 3 hours. It wasn't a sequel and at most maybe 45 seconds of continuous work, enough to add a page and then another right after that. Not sure what caused it to start working weird. It works when there is nothing in it (when it should be stopped). It stops about 1/8 inch when I put something in it. It only goes when I press the forward button and then it doesn't stop until I put in another sheet of paper and then it stops again after it's about 1/8th of the document…

never eats Overheats after 30 minutes. The jar should be bigger.

Great product. If you're used to buying those cheap $20 paper shredders at Walmart that claim to shred 6 sheets of paper but get stuck when you accidentally put in 7. this is the product for you. If you've spent hours trying to remove clutter from paper shredders with tweezers and straightened paperclips, just know that you'll never be able to do it with this paper shredder. Even if you put in the dreaded 15 sheets, it doesn't get stuck. This thing is a serious workhorse ready to shred your…

Great replacement for my friends w11c

upgrade. I first bought it in June 2017. It's now July 2020 and it's still working great. I've spilled it a few times and sometimes I can get it back with the switch, but a couple of times I've done really bad things and had to pull the side of the button to release it. The car is never to blame. I mean it still works great after trying to send too many emails at once and many years later. First review: I received it today and am completely satisfied so far. My w11c buddies kicked the dust off…
