Review on 🔪 GBC Paper Shredder Review: Personal Duo, 12 Sheet Capacity, Super Cross-Cut – Black (1757394) by Peter Mendoza

Used about 6 times since purchase (November 2017) and already having problems. I only skip - at most - 4 sheets of paper at a time. This thing has been treated well and not reworked so this is very disappointing. Once it overheated and I had to let it sit for about 30 minutes before it started working again. Now I load a few sheets and then wait a bit before doing more, which is ridiculous if you ask me. There is a touch tab in the middle of the feeder part that is supposed to detect the presence of paper, but that tab stuck to mine and wouldn't pick up the paper. Only narrow strips of paper can be drawn in at the sides, nothing in the middle because this flap blocks it. The engine does not bind and runs well. 2 stars instead of 1 - just because I threw it away and my husband stuck a knife in it and somehow got the tongue back in place and now it's working again. I don't feel good about it though and I think this problem will continue until this little cheap tab breaks and then we're finally done with it. Since we haven't done anything about it, I'm not a fan yet!
