This unit was shipped on May 28th. It is now June 23rd and it is no longer open. Halfway through the movie last night all the lights on the front went out and the remote stopped working with it. It was still making a noise so I didn't think about it much, thinking maybe it was in some weird sleep mode and I'd have to turn it on and off to wake it up. Went to sleep and work. Came home and now it doesn't work at all. The light doesn't come on. silent. No nothing. Absolutely ridiculous. A $100 block isn't the most expensive or the coolest thing in the world, but I expect it to last over a month. EDIT: Revain sent me another block to replace the broken one. Let's see how long this one lasts. It's odd to note that this second set, despite being the exact same Sams devices, appears to be of higher quality and in better overall condition.
