Velcro straps aren't as secure as buckles
Velcro worked well for attaching the front seatpost but not well as a back support under the seat. The back straps wouldn't snap into bumps even under the weight of a few allen wrenches and a car key . I will be replacing it with one that has side latches as it has held up well with me on previous bikes.
