I had a food thermometer but it was old fashioned with a short probe and small screen. Compared to other similar devices in terms of quality and price, I chose this one. The package arrived at night, much quicker than I expected. It was beautifully packaged. I tested it while roasting a large piece of breast and had a wonderful experience. The probe is long enough to allow me to penetrate deeper into the meat, which comes in handy when checking if large brisket or pork shoulder blades have reached the desired core temperature. The rotating hinge feels very solid and easily twists back to turn it off. The backlit display is bright enough when used in the dark and the size of the whole device is excellent. I really liked the large display as it is much easier to read. It measures temperature quickly and accurately. This is a great product and we recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, fast and accurate thermometer.
