I could not use it The battery was dead upon receipt and it is difficult to remove to replace. Return or replacement not possible. Have never used a thermometer.

Arrived on time. I used it for grilled steaks this weekend. Calibrated at room temperature after opening the box (76F vs. thermostat). It was accurate and very easy to use. He worked as he describes it. I would recommend it.

Neatly designed kitchen appliance that works as well as advertised. I just had to test it for accuracy and am happy with the results. I get readings very quickly (response time 5 seconds) and don't have to poke around in a hot oven for long! Another thing I like about it is that it uses regular AAA batteries (easy to find and replace). Very good product!
