Im not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

Dimensions and weight are not for everyone. This must be taken into account. Ergonomics? Ease of use with one hand? Interface customization? - No, you haven't heard. Here you will have more icons.
I don’t know how it is in Europe and America, but in 2022, the acquisition of this device, taking into account the user experience, I consider insufficiently substantiated.
For 50 thousand you do not get ANYTHING that the device from Koreans and Chinese could not give you for the same money. Of course, there is an abyss between an iPhone and some Xiaomi: from materials to software quality.
But if you have money and a choice, then the iPhone 8 is not an absolute solution.

Pros

I liked the natural display with pleasant colors, where white is white, red and blue do not burn out the eyes like on Samsung. Battery life is awesome: I shoot in the morning from charging and all day until late at night I do WHAT I WANT. A wonderful point-and-shoot camera, and there are cameras for a serious hobby or profession. Excellent work speed. The top processor makes itself felt. Apple pay works great. Tight control over the quality of applications is still making itself felt (hello Android!) Actually everything.

Cons

He is very slippery! If you don't believe me, check it out in the app store before you buy it. To use it without a cover, it is impossible to slip out of your hands. Do not even try to use iOS 11 out of the box - it's just a spit in the face of the buyer, to release a device with such terry operating system bugs (YES! The calculator is buggy, albums are not grouped in the player, Wi-Fi falls off and other delights of haste). After the upgrade, everything falls into place. Now about purely apple chips: 3D Touch is useless nonsense that only Apple apps are adapted to. Siri is a dumb secretary emulator. Maximum "Hi, set the alarm for 7 am" - everything else through the time and stump deck. The button simulator is a terrible evil: it is impossible to press it with wet hands, it gets dull in the cold. Constantly having to swear to type the password. Fairytale dances with a tambourine, provided that you have a computer instead of a mac. Transferring and uploading files - everything is as it was "under Jobs", and remains. Partially with multimedia, such programs as VLC and Foobar2022 save the situation. Not! It's not convenient for me to group music by catalogs, thanks! No 3.5. But a wonderful hemorrhoid adapter for it. The included earphones are great for enjoying music and chatting. at home in silence. In any public space other than parks, expect a complete lack of soundproofing and consequent diffuse audio experience. You will increase the volume, "fighting" with the noise from the outside - you will only strain your hearing more.
