At first the laptop told me that it couldn't 'recognize' the 'supply voltage' of the charger that came with the laptop, so it might not work. Then I realized that I CANNOT read the labels on the keys. So I... I turn on the keyboard backlight. NO help - it was already included. The backlight is silver/off-white and doesn't stand out against the silver keyboard. I suspect the key notches are great for the black models of this laptop. I liked the big bright screen. Then I found that turning off the Lite keyboard (Fn + F5 keys) makes them easier to read. Better but not good. You could use red or blue lighting for the silver models and that might solve the problem. WHO ALLOWED THIS COLOR COMBINATION! Attached images of the keyboard with FULL LIGHTING. Without a backlight, the keys are slightly easier to read depending on the light source and direction. I return because it refuses to charge the battery above 41-42%.
