Review on Eastman 41065 5 Foot Pair of Silver Braided Stainless Steel Washing Machine Hoses with 3/4 inch FHT by Shane Popo

I've been using Eastman washing machine connector hoses for about six years and they have worked perfectly (my original set was Lowe's). We bought a new washing machine, so I bought new connecting hoses. These hoses are reinforced and I like the 90 degree bends to save some space. I haven't had any issues with leaks or knocking. These hoses are guaranteed for life; However, I have read that they should be replaced every 5 years and in my opinion $25 every 5 years is a worthwhile investment to avoid potential water damage. While it's not a big deal I would like the hoses to be colored taped to indicate hot/cold lines, but I won't disconnect them often and I could use colored tape if needed. Cheaper options are available and some look identical to the Eastman brand; However, I will pay extra dollars for a peace of mind.
