Review on 🐠 Fritz Aquatics FritzZyme 7 Nitrifying Bacteria for Freshwater Aquariums - 32oz by Lisa Frank

Not sure if this really works...

I added drops of ammonia and left the cycle for a week or two. Then I added 12 ounces of Fritz Aquatics FritzZyme 7 Nitrifying Bacteria for Fresh Water Aquariums to my 29 gallon tank to give the live bacteria a boost so they could absorb all the ammonia to produce nitrite and then nitrate. After a week I see that I still have high ammonia levels. I then added 12 ounces of FritzZyme 7, then another week went by, calmed down the ammonia levels and added another 12 ounces. A month later, or a total of 48 ounces, or 4 cans of Fritz Aquatics FritzZyme 7 per 29 gallons, I still have high ammonia levels. Every 3 or 4 days I tested it with the API Master test kit or Tetra Ammonia and 5 in 1 test strips and both showed it was blood dark green, no nitrites but almost no nitrates. The YouTube videos said I could put the fish in if I added "Fritz Aquatics FritzZyme 7" but my neon tetras are all hanging on the bottom and just hovering over the gravel instead of swimming forward. If I could do it again, I would use fewer drops of ammonia in the future. I pray every morning that there aren't any dead fish swimming around in the morning. For three or four days in a row I did 10% water changes or about 50% water changes to get rid of the ammonia faster. . Eventually, the water sample will look very light green or yellow. All the money that was spent to reduce the amount of ammonia has now gone down the drain.
