I had an old 8" JBL subwoofer that worked pretty well for over a decade before it died. I was debating between this and a 10-inch Polk Audio subwoofer before deciding on the Klipsch. And WOW, I didn't know exactly how much bass I was missing from my movies and music. The thing is booming! It has enough power to make enough noise that you can hear from outside the house. You can feel the vibration in your bones in your home theater. Really impressed with how much sound you can get from such a small device. Very happy with the purchase.
