Superb accuracy that beats its price

This is a fantastic subwoofer! I bought this subwoofer as a second subwoofer to fill up my media room. It is paired with a front-firing Martin-Logan subwoofer and 7-channel Martin-Logan speakers. Amazing audio fidelity and room-filling bass. While not a "value" subwoofer, it far outweighs its price.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good for the size - home audio

Decent but for the same price I bought the reference Infiniti 12. And the infinity is significantly better in comparison. I use both as I also bought Klipsch reference towers and needed something that could stand the test of time. The Klipsch subwoofer is defiantly good for its size and hasn't been broken in yet.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Empty

Easy to set up for the audio novice

I connected this to an old Sony receiver that only had a subwoofer input. I wanted something more expensive in case I wanted to move it to a bigger room. Love this subwoofer and the fact that I can easily adjust the base depending on the volume. The guide explains each dial in detail.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people

Neighbors Say Hello - Speakers

I had an old 8" JBL subwoofer that worked pretty well for over a decade before it died. I was debating between this and a 10-inch Polk Audio subwoofer before deciding on the Klipsch. And WOW, I didn't know exactly how much bass I was missing from my movies and music. The thing is booming! It has enough power to make enough noise that you can hear from outside the house. You can feel the vibration in your bones in your home theater. Really impressed with how much sound you can get from such aโ€ฆ

  • New

  • Vulgarity

It's the same unit as their SUB-10A but with a slightly different finish

So I bought both the Synergy SUB-100 and the regular SUB-10A as both were the same price when I looked up the . As you can see from my photos they are EXACTLY the same acoustically, the only noticeable difference is the finish and logo placement. So if I paid a premium for the "Synergy" SUB-100, I would now feel like a Subwoofer 0. Is the marketing worth the extra $100+ for the Synergy line? It pales in comparison to my old Definitive Pro SuperCube 800, but it's good enough.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I'm not an audiophile.

Sounds great to me, but I'm not a music lover. I have tinnitus, which means constant competition noises. I only had 2 active subwoofers (Klipsch and Onkyo) and one passive (Bose). To my ears this Klipsch is as good or better than the 2 active subs, while the passive sub was a total waste of time (I would never buy a passive again). As for the thickness and transparency values, I don't see the point. This SW is the size I would expect for what it is. You can see its dimensions in the data sheetโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Protection

Great price at sale price only.

Good price on sale only. Avoid the sale price! At the current retail price of two Benjamins (half price), this subwoofer is well above its price point and is great value for money. Those aren't the lowest frequencies, but at 32 Hz, it's enough to enjoy movies and music. The quality and quantity of bass is impressive and unexpected for a 10 inch woofer. The surrounding case is minimal, and as such, this device is small enough to fit anywhere. Can I recommend this subwoofer at the retail priceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very good price for high quality and dynamic sound!

I use this in my bedroom with a Sony STR-DH590 stereo for TV and Bluetooth for music. This subwoofer must be set up by connecting it to an AC power source and then connecting it to the stereo jacks via the RCA jacks from the stereo's "Subwoofer Out" jacks. Then it needs to be tuned or adjusted through the stereo system and then you can adjust the gain and crossover on the back of the unit. The subwoofer needs some break-in time to work properly, but it makes the windows shake and the wallsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Almost never

We recently upgraded our Def Tech ProCinema 1000 front and center speakers to the newly released Elac Uni-Fi 2.0. These speakers sound amazing. However, my old 8" Infinity SW was woefully inadequate (it always was) so we looked around for an upgrade. Our family room is quite large, approximately 16 feet by 28 feet, and is semi-open on one long side into the large kitchen. , bar and a wide corridor to the entrance. I figured we needed a bigger SW so we bought a Klipsch 12sw. It was anything butโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Operating speed

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

sub Weak and superficial sounds at low volume. To swing it and get a decent low-frequency sound, you need to use 50-60% of its maximum power - and this is already too much for an apartment - the neighbors will go crazy. I adjusted it for a long time so that there was no failure in the sound with the JBL LX front. And this sub also needs time to warm up, because. I turn it on no more than 2 times a week for 2-3 hours, I got a pleasant sound from it somewhere in 5-6 months. His sound is deepโ€ฆ

Pros
  • -very powerful, you definitely donโ€™t need more powerful for a city apartment - good case - the sound in the movie is excellent (explosions, shooting - 5 points) - not particularly picky about the location - a huge phase inverter that does not give any rumble
Cons
  • - speaker suspension is too hard -requires installation but a pedestal (solid wood\marble) - quite expensive - sounds very mediocre on music (on complex compositions it rolls into a rumble)
