I wanted to try this type of charger because it is different from other chargers. I just put my phone on it and that's it. It doesn't charge as fast and takes up more space than traditional chargers. However, this does not work on all phones. The only thing that hasn't crossed my mind is that if I want to take my phone with me while it's charging, I can't do it with this charger like I can with traditional ones. I will stick with my old one and use it as a backup.
