This material helped us as a wooden skirt. This is a simple, good quality, shiny fabric that you wrap around the base of the tree. No frills, no frills, no rocket science, no mess, no fuss. We have a 7 foot artificial Christmas tree with lights that we decorate with our kids every year. I haven't had a skirt made of wood for several years. It was a great price, it's lightweight, it's versatile (can also be used as a tablecloth etc) and we love the gold sequins. We don't have pets, as some other reviewers have mentioned, so no problem. I assume a pet can get hold of any design wooden skirt, so this works for me!
