This item is ideal for hanging on simple wire clips. My daughter wanted to hang it horizontally on the wall but the side supports are TOO wide. We were able to adjust the suspension to use a single wire, but it was too tall so we used a hook to hang it from the wall mount to the stand. Another thing to watch out for is that if you don't place it firmly on either side of the wire, the clip can easily slide from left to right when hanging. The elastic inside would have kept it in place, but the little black hair ties held it in place and were barely noticeable.
