I bought this as a (hopeful) replacement to my swiffer, as I've grown tired of throwing money away on the disposables. This is one of the better mops I've purchased, but it doesn't quite work as well at getting up the dirt as my swiffer. I'm not sure if it's the cleaner I've chosen or what, but I'm definitely a little disappointed.*Updated* Originally I gave this product a 3 star rating, as it didn't seem to be working out for me. I was very surprised to receive a box from Matt at Homevative, containing a new mop-kit and some tips for different types of cleaners for different types of floors. I figured, they went through all the trouble to send me a new kit, so I may as well give it a go! Using the vinegar recommendation (for laminate floors), I saw a MAJOR difference between the new mop and my original one. It cleaned up my son's sticky apple juice mess in one go! I didn't even have to scrub hard, either. So like my original review said above, I'm not sure if it was the cleaner I was using or if my first mop was just defective in some way, but this will definitely be my go-to mop from now on!
