Perfect size. The shape is great too. I don't like corners where fish can get stuck. I was afraid that the filter would be too strong for my betta but in the end I got a short finned betta and she has no problems with scales. The only thing I have trouble with is the backlight timer. I can't find any clear instructions on how to set it up, so he has his own opinion. I can only find instructions for the old style tank. It's not that important. I have a few low light plants that also do well. I turn off the filter for a few minutes while feeding because it sucks up the food before it's finished eating.
