I don't usually write reviews but after seeing these boots I had to. I have had old Oakley Storm Boots in the past and was very impressed with the quality of the previous versions. I've worn previous Oakley style storm boots for over 2 years with no problems. Because of this experience, I did not hesitate to buy the current version of the Oakley boots. There was an error. Pros: AR 670-1 compliant, lightweight and breathable. Cons: Lack of support from the supplied insoles which forced me to swap out the insoles otherwise I couldn't bear to wear the boot, this boot is not waterproof and these are by far the noisiest boots I have ever owned in my twenty years had military experience. The boot literally crunches as you walk, and the soles constantly creak when they get wet. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and for the price I feel like there are many better options on the market. I hope you read this review before purchasing.
